Karl Neubert
Free-lancing filmmaker based in Tokyo, Japan
  Born in Munich, Germany. MFA in Japanology and Communication Sciences from Munich University, Germany. MA in Imaging Art and Sciences from Musashino Art University, Japan. Ph.D. candidate of Nihon University, College of Art, Japan. Member of the Directors Guild of Japan.
  His debut as director, "THE TURNS OF THE WHEEL" , won him several awards world-wide, including a Gold Hugo from Chicago International Film Festival.
  Not only creating his own projects, he made a name for himself as line producer and writer for more than 200 industrial, drama and documentary films. Among his credits are works of distinctive directors like Doris Doerrie, Peter Spirer, Roger Manley, Edgar Honetschlaeger and Wolfgang Petersen.
  Since 2005 he is a lecturer for film at Temple University Japan Campus and the director of its student film festival.

  Was established in 1997 by Karl Neubert under the name "Angura International Pictures/Rodeo Film Japan" for producing his debut film.
  After a 8-year-long period of having mainly focused on line production of foreign film and TV projects shot on location in Japan, Karl Neubert is currently preparing to produce a feature film.
