General Election
What is Primary Election ?
A primary election is an ELECTION process whereby a
POLITICAL PARTY chooses its candidates for public
office by a direct polling of party members. It is
contrasted with the party caucus or convention, where
party candidates are chosen by party leaders and
activists. Winners in primary elections go on to run
in the general election against candidates of the
other parties.
In short, the candidates running for the primary
election are "the candidates for the candidate (of a
party)".
On this process, the candidates are reduced to only
one in each party.
Then, the survived candidates will do their best for
the general election.
