Upper House Election in Japan

Low Voter Turnout
"The sleeping fox catches no poultry" described by Genjamine Frankline who was a scientist and politician sounds an ear-scratching caution for us Japanese now.
The basis of democracy is for everyone to participate in the policy, and the first step for it is going to the poll and reflect your own idea.
Voting right is not gifted but won thanks to the enthusiastic activists for the democracy, otherwise we could not live our own life so comfortably compared with people who are struggling under the tyranny in other undemocratic countries.
Now Japan has been confronting with such serious problems as deeping recession, birth rate, graying population, and environmental destruction, snd so forth.
Every problem can't be solved without good policy conducted by good politicians elected by the good voters' mandate.

Opinions

Question 1: Are you satisfied with the Japanese status quo?

Question 2: What makes them so apathetic to the election?

Question 3: What makes you interested in election / policy?

Question 4: What factors make you decide the cast a vote for the candidate / party?
