Immigrant's Experiences
Di Tran immigrated from Vietnam to the USA in 1978 at age of 4. Because her
parents hated communism rule. Fist she , with her parents and her brother ,
moved to Singapore in a crowded shabby boat and then to Taiwan, where they
had to wait for 6 months in immigrant camps. After that they flied to
Michigan State ,where they were provided a house by the church and a few
years latter they moved to a better house by their effort. After about ten
years in Michigan, looking for good educational and job opportunities they
are now in Los Angels.
