UWP001 DEMISOR(Singapore) / CLOTTED SYMMETRIC SEXUAL ORGAN(Japan) -split 7"EP 1997

With the cooperation of Japanese death / grind label Bloodbath Records, the first stuff was released and pressed 500 copies in 1997. DEMISOR side titled "Reality", consists of 5 trax full of crusty grind core madness. This is the first vinyl of them, and after this, DEMISOR got a chance to release several split vinyl / tape, and played gigs a lot. You know how cool they are! Sadly the band split up a few years ago, but some of members are still playing in the other band like EDORA, and going strong! On C.S.S.O. side they're playing fuckin' noisy short grind trax with filthy putrid gore vocals. By listening to their other releases, you must feel that they have a talent for writing good music, but on this they're simply grinding!!! Their vicious noise will makes your ears bleed surely! This stuff is now out of print, but only a few copies are back in stock. The price is US$6.00(world, inc. p&p). The cassette format of this vinyl was officially released with extra bonus trax on Malaysian label called No Action Taken Distribution in 500 copies limited edition. It's still available from U.W.P. You, die-hard maniacs should get it!
UWP002 Various Artists(Japan) -comp CD 1998 "The True Ideal Realized Through The Underground"

We had a desire to release compilation of Japanese bands and wanted to introduce those bands to the foreign countries. So this project was suggested and compiled with the cooperation of 3 Japanese labels, and finally realized in 1998. This compilation consists of 18 songs from 10 Japanese extreme metal bands, and all songs are unreleased! This featured TRANSGRESSOR(brutal death, 2 songs), MASSGROUND(grind / death, 2 songs), INTESTATE(Swedish death-style, 1 song), CAVE IN DEPTH(atmospheric / gothic, 1 song), MENTALLY INFECTED(grind / death, 2 songs), ASRAFIL(melodic black, 2 songs), DEATH SEED(old school death, 2 songs), NYARLATHOTEP (weird bizarre death, 3 songs), DESPERATE CORRUPTION(brutal death, 1 song), VAMPIRIC MOTIVES(grind gore, 2 songs). This comes with a 16-page booklet with the information of the bands on this. This stuff pressed 500 copies, and got a lot of great responses from maniacs and, was reviewed very good in the underground fanzine. Out of print.

UWP003 BIRDFLESH(Sweden) / CARCASS GRINDER(Japan) -split 7"EP 1999

We assure that this is the masterpiece of regal grind core. Both bands play fuckin' insane grind with their own style. On BIRDFLESH side, they play tight and solid grind with the influences of REPULSION, MACABRE and BRUTAL TRUTH. Even they have some melodic parts and the lyrics are full of weird sense of humor. Totally cool! On C.G. side, they play catchy grind core with dual vocals. Those who have listened to their other release, must understand what I mean. Their songs are fast and intense enough though at the same time very catchy! They know how to write nice songs! This record must have supported the BIRDFLESH Japan tour 1999, but the release delayed and was out after the tour unfortunately. However I am sure this one was enjoyed as a nice memory by the kids who came and danced on their tour. 500 copies pressed. Out of print.

UWP005 DERIDE(Japan) / MINUS(Singapore) -split 7"EP 2000

DERIDEc we know them for several years as we live in same area and hung out together, and we went to their gig often. They were getting better and better these years. Much faster and more thrashing! And their gig killz everytime! We're really into their music as well as their attitude, so we decided to release a vinyl for them. At that time I got one demo tape from my friend in Singapore, that was MINUS demo tape. And I really liked it, that was catchy but raw energetic UK-styled punk. So I start working for this Asian punk split EP. As a result, DERIDE gave 2 fast songs burst out hardcore punk with their almighty chorus, and MINUS showed how cool they are for the 3 nice songs of UK-influenced hardcore with a heavy productions. This stuff was welcomed by worldwide punk maniacs and sure, they must be able to feel the energy of Asian punks!!! 500 copies pressed. Out of print.

UWP006 AGE(Japan) -7"EP 2002 "Blowing Wind"

From Niigata, Japanc AGE has been playing hardcore punk influenced by ANTISECT, AMEBIX and DISCHARGE since 1995. And the band has released several EPs and an album, and were playing gig a lot! They got a lot of great reactions, especially to the cool live performances. Now we're sure this band has their own style and the creativity. In 2001 AGE asked us an offer of 7"EP release, of course we agreed and it was a pleasure to work out together. Because we know them and have been crazy fans since the band started. We're sorry to say that this project was delayed due to our personal problems, however it's finally realized in the end of June 2002 anyway. This 7"EP was recorded in March, titled "Blowing Wind", and has 2 songs of fine metalkrushing crust! Nothing to say, this is really great! Get your copy at local distributor. No longer available from us. 1000 copies pressed.

"I always found this band's previous releases to be much on the doom-and-gloom crusty side, a la MISERY. Not so with this two-track stormercdon't get me wrong-it's still a crusty mess, but the tempo has been upped, making this much more palatable to these ears. Distinctive guttural FORWARD style vocals and an awesome blown out guitar sound akin to our favorite Dis band, DISCLOSE, make for a ripping record." (Maximumrocknroll October 2002 #233)

"AGE's fastest songs ever. One of Japans best crust band ever, heavy AMEBIX, AXEGRINDER crust. Songs are "Like the Blowing Wind Part 1 and Part 2" Limited to 1000." (Profane Existence Fall-Winter 2002 #40)

"AGE have that big rock production sound that most traditional sounding Japanese hardcore bands have. The vocals are low end and shrill sounding in a way that reflects the vocals of a lot of crust singers. My primary experience with this sound is that of the singer from the Montreal crust band SHITFIT, but this doesn't probably mean anything to anyone who didn't buy any Dysgusher Records, so I better explain further. His vocals are low end and relies on his throat like someone who is trying to an impersonation of a Muppet might sound. No disrespect is meant because it is a hard thing to do to try and sing with your throat especially with the power that a hardcore band would try and deliver, but it is also a very distinct sound. The guitars have a big rock sound and incorporate dissonant ringing feedback parts that have become popularized by bands like TRAGEDY. But the guitars also have the rock solos that sweep out of nowhere and don't always make sense. The drumming is a straight forward D-beat pummeling that keeps basic 4-4 timees with the odd fills. Side A starts off with a slower song that has a crunch and sounds like something at home with "Orgasmatron" period MOTORHEAD. It has an appeal to kids who were into the original crossover scene. Part 2, which is side B, has little more juice in terms of speed and I prefer it. The songs are titled "Blowing Wind" and "Blowing Wind, Part 2" and so in this case I would have to say that I prefer the sequel." (Equalizing-X-Distort January 2003 Volume 3, Issue 1)
Yes! We planned a new release, and it will be out in 2004.(We hope!) It must be a perfect grind core split EP by two Asian raw noisy grinders! D.I.E is known as a Donmai grind band and is supported by real grind maniacs. They've released a 7"EP and split EP w./ AGATHOCLES, RUIDO DE ODIO, NIKUDOREI, REALIZED. Check out their releases, if you've not tasted. You won't be disappointed. Now they have a new line-up and are going more stronger than ever! You can see their gig in Tokyo area with GRUDGE and GORE BEYOND NECROPSY, C.S.S.O. Wellctry playing D.I.E record slowly and beware for Donmai grind. TORTURE INCIDENT is around since 1995, once they split up but reformed with different line-ups. In 2001 they've released sick grind chaos called "The Deadly Efficiency Of Napalm" CD. We were completely knocked out by this and decided to support them. T.I. already finished the recording and 5 new songs are ready for this split EP. They also have a plan for a split CD release w./ BRUTAL INSANITY(U.K.). Malaysian grindcore assasin aims at your ears! Look forward to this release and feel free to write to us for informations. Thank you.
