  CMO No 265 contains:

1.           The second of the new series on  Great 2003 Mars Coming deals with Possible Flashes on the Martian Surface in 2003 given by M MURAKAMI suggesting a possibility around Solis L at around 1 August 2003. The third given by A NISHITA contains an Ephemeris for the Physical Observation of Mars in November and December 2002.

2.          2001 Mars CMO Note (11) is about a fall and re- rise of Phoenicis L during the 2001 Dusty Time.

3.          Letters to the Editor records a number of emails or letters received during the one-month period from 25 September to 24 October 2002. The finding and tracing of a White Spot on Saturn by Ed GRAFTON were main topics during the time. Bill SHEEHAN email about the left brain of P LOWELL is also interesting.

4.          Ten Years Ago (#86) was written first by Toshiaki HIKI (in Japanese) reviewing CMO #122 published on 25 October 1992 when the apparent diameter went up to around 8 seconds. Such domestic observers as Mk, Id, Mn, Mo, Nj and Hk were active. ISHADOH (ID) detected an abnormality near Ganges on 3 October 1992. OAA Allnight Mars Watching was planed on the coming days 21, 22, 23 November.

5.          Seasonal Essay (5) is about MURAKAMI痴 expedition to Kesen-numa, Miyagi where he visited the Mizusawa Observation Center (belonging to the NAO) and found a statue of Hisashi KIMURA of the Z term.
